YOGA SCULPT
Appropriate for intermediate students or beginners who have taken at least 8 Flow Basics sessions, or beginners in good physical condition(beginners should contact instructor prior to first session)

Yoga sequence including:  the foundational Sun Salutation A and B, continuous flowing movements for cardio benefits, postures to promote more strength and tone, release movements for flexibility, and balancing poses to develop a steadier mind and body, with deeper focus.  10 minutes of pilates-type exercises added for core conditioning.  Breathing exercises and full relaxation included.

Create a calm, focused mind while developing a
stronger, leaner, and healthier body with less strain and injury.
1hr 15 min.

YIN YOGA

Appropriate for all levels.  Designed with a sequence of slow, deeply relaxing stretches, this session will restore youthful joint mobility and activate the  "pressure points", much like accupuncture, that stimulate healthier and more vibrant energy flow throughout the body and mind.

Yin will leave you feeling calm and energized at the same time.  It is a perfect complement to the Power and Flow classes in that it will give you a new flexibility and added strength throughout the connective tissue involved in every yoga movement, literally right down to the bones.

Liberate the chronic holding patterns in body AND mind,  relieve pain, gain an edge in any sport, or just recapture some of the ease and freedom of movement you used to have as a child.

Create a new and different wisdom that comes from holding a posture in complete stillness and experience the liberation and power that comes from letting go.

1hr 15min.

YOGA FLOW BASICS
Beginners, those looking for a more basic or gentle class, with more time to develop alignment and deepen understanding.  A basic yoga sequence with attention to postures that promote overall strength and  balance, but also increased flexibility and lowered stress and tension in the body and mind.

Each session will include breathing techniques, the foundational Sun Salutation Series A, designed to open every joint and work every muscle.  Variations and new basic poses will be added each week, carefully integrating the flow of breath with movement of the spine.  The series includes a balance of energetic flow, deep concentration, and release.

Create a more comfortable, flexible body and mind that more     fully supports you in all of your endeavors.  Perfect for those either wanting to begin a yoga practice or who want to learn more about each exercise, those experiencing high stress and tightness, athletes desiring more range of motion and power, or those wanting to  experience a more open mind and body with less aches and pain.

This class is a blend of some of the more basic movements from the Power Yoga and Yin Yoga classes.  If you have not had any experience with yoga, this will give you all of the basics needed to participate in any of my other practices, or take the knowledge of proper alignment and breathing to feel more comfortable in any yoga studio or at home.

1hr 15min.

THERAPEUTIC YOGA
(Private sessions available, or bring sessions for you and your coworkers right to your office)

Perfect for the beginner, those with more limited range of motion, due to illness or injury, or the experienced student looking for a more restorative  practice.

A yoga series designed to relax and restore every part of  your body and mind.

Gentle stretching exercises designed to release tightness and discomfort in the neck, shoulders, back, and hips.

A calmer, more focused mind, joint freedom, better flexibility, and improved posture are just some of the benefits of taking this class.

Leave feeling restored, as if you have had a total body massage.

1hr 15min.

WHY YOGA???
WHY ON THE BEACH???

Yoga is a discipline that is different from most other types of exercise.  Not only does yoga deliver a stronger and more flexible body and mind, with better posture, but a yoga practice also gives the student a chance to quiet the nervous system, allowing the body and mind to begin to rebuild by relaxing the stress that usually keeps us stuck and uncomfortable.  It requires a stillness and deeper focus that connects the student more to the present moment, and it is within this connection that we can more effectively heal and strengthen the body and mind in every way.

There is no better place(I feel) to experience that connection than right on the beach.  Rising up to an open sky, breathing in the fresh morning air, hearing the soothing sound of the waves before you, seeing and feeling the warm sun rising before you....it leaves you feeling great to be alive, refreshed and ready to enjoy the day!

For the beginner it is a fun way to learn the basic movements in a more relaxed vacation setting.  For the more experienced yoga student, it is a way to enjoy your practice in a whole new way, appreciating the beautiful setting around you.

I would be honored to share my classes with you.  Any questions or to make a reservation(classes do fill up)- kquinn@ecyoga.com
